This Privacy Policy explains how ToolsDiary ("ToolsDiary," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use https://toolsdiary.com and related pages.
1. Browser-local tools
Most launch tools process text, URLs, colors, JSON and supported images directly in your web browser. For these tools, the content you enter or select is not sent to ToolsDiary for processing. The tool page itself is still loaded from our web server, so ordinary web-server information may be processed as described below.
2. Server and security logs
Our hosting provider may automatically record technical information such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, user-agent information, response status and security events. These logs are used for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and security. Retention depends in part on hosting and security-provider settings.
3. Contact messages
If you contact us, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, subject and message. We use it to respond, investigate reported issues and maintain a reasonable record of correspondence. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens or other secrets through the contact form.
4. Cookies and local storage
ToolsDiary does not require an account for the launch tools. Essential storage may be used when necessary for security or basic site operation. If we enable analytics or advertising that uses cookies, local storage or similar technologies, we will update our disclosures and use consent controls where required.
5. Analytics
Analytics is disabled in the launch build. If analytics is enabled later, this policy will identify the service and purpose. Where required by applicable law, non-essential analytics storage will be subject to appropriate consent choices.
6. Advertising
Advertising is disabled in the launch build. If Google AdSense or another advertising service is enabled, advertising providers may process device identifiers, cookie information, IP address, page context and interaction information according to their policies and the choices available to you. For users in regions where Google requires a certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) for personalized advertising, ToolsDiary will use a Google-certified consent solution before such advertising is enabled.
7. External links
ToolsDiary may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Opening an external link leaves the ToolsDiary environment.
8. Data retention
Browser-local tool inputs are not retained by ToolsDiary because they are not submitted to us for processing. Contact messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records and address legal or security needs. Technical logs are retained according to operational and hosting requirements.
9. Security
We use HTTPS and reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control. No website or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
ToolsDiary is a general-audience utility website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create profiles of children through the launch tools.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal information we hold about you, including access, correction, deletion or objection rights. Because most tool input is processed locally, we generally do not possess that input. For information you submitted directly to us, contact privacy@toolsdiary.com.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as ToolsDiary adds services, analytics, advertising or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date identifies the current version.
13. Contact
Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@toolsdiary.com.
